Holiday Season Gift Guide 2012 – Smartphones

Holiday season is approaching. It’s time to start thinking about preparing presents for your folks or friends. At this time, you may have a headache and don’t know which one to choose. But if you are ready for the latest and greatest smatrphone as a gift, we’ll give you some guide this holiday. We classify and introduce these smartphones as the three biggest platforms: iOS, Android and Windows Phone.
Smartphones
iOS
It’s definitely the iPhone 5 since it’s the best iphone for the time being. The iPhone 5 covers many new features and comes with 4G LTE. The new iPhone is also thinner, faster and with an even better camera and improved iOS 6.
Android
The Samsung Galaxy S III is currently the most high-end Android device. With its huge, gorgeous 4.8-inch display and Snapdragon S4 chip with 2GB of RAM, it’s a monster of a device. In addition, Samsung delivers in a nature-inspired extremely thin body. And it does have LTE as well, and is expected to become buttery smooth with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean by the time the Holidays come.
The LG Nexus 4 is an irresistible device. It features state-of-the-art hardware: a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, a large 4.7-inch HD screen and the latest of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It doesn’t support LTE but HSPA+ is at pretty fast speed, which offsets that omission.
The anodized aluminum body of HTC One S has definitely passed the test of time, though it was released a few months ago. And if you pursue the looks, it’ll be your right choice. However, besides the appearance, the device is getting the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for perfectly smooth performance.
Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX HD
The most important feature of Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX HD is that it carries a higher capacity Li-ion battery with 3300mAh. It will easily last you through two days of average use, and even under the toughest drain you’d find it hard to run out the battery by the end of a day. It’s also got an HD screen, and outstanding hardware.
Windows Phone
If you are bored with Android and iOS, you have the option of Windows Phone 8, and the HTC 8X is probably the prettiest device running the WP 8 OS. It’s emerging in various fun colors, and supports the usual perfectly smooth WP8 experience with a dual-core processor along with LTE.
