It is well known that BGR sent a photo that they suggested third
party non-approved authentication chips for Apple’s Lightning USB
cables. This is very important for Apple
had included an authentication chip to stop manufacture inexpensive and
potentially unsafe third-party Lightning accessories, and when the news
was announced the chip was cracked, the photo shows more than one clone
of Apple’s original design.
We
know that there exists multiple versions of unofficial lightning
authentication chips and connectors appearing in China, and when that
probably become the good information for those seem for lower priced
accessories and chargers, it seems no good for MFI who are the Apple's
partner of making legitimate accessories.
